Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit 10 x Junior Desktop Analysts for initial contracts until the end of March 2022 on a rate of £115/day (inside of IR35). Responsibilities:- Be a member of the Various Proactive and Hardware Teams and will support the build, delivery and installation of IT hardware (Desktop PCs) across the organisations estate as part of a Windows 10 Desktop Refresh Project.- These installations will range from single devices to individual areas/departments to larger volumes as part of project related deployment.- You will be aligned into Teams across various sites where the majority of the time you will be based in one of the main offices with minimal travel on a daily basis but there will be occasions through the contract period that may require you to travel tosatellite sites with another Team in support of work demand and/or to cover for any absence etc and so would require each staff member to have access to their own transport to support this travel between sites as required.Essential Skills:- Must have either relevant technical education of qualification or at least 2 years of IT experience within specialist area.- Degree/HND in IT or associated discipline with at least 2 years experience in Desktop support role, field or call centre based, project or service supportOr- Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certified training in Microsoft Desktop operating systems, or Microsoft applications or HP/Dell/Lexmark hardware certification- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to liaise effectively with Senior Internal Managers and Senior External Managers is essential- Full clean driving licence and access to transportDesirable Skills:- Qualified in ITIL IT Service Management- Additional HP/Dell/Lexmark (other vendor) hardware training /certificationIf you would like to hear more about these opportunities please get in touch.
