We are recruiting for a Staff Nurse - Maternity who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.Medway Maternity Services support approximately 5,000 women and babies per annum. We are forward thinking with motivated staff who strive to improve the quality of the service that we offer to our women, their babies and their families. We have achieved and sustained Baby Friendly Initiative Stage 3 and provide professional development opportunities for all levels of staff.The successful post holder will be expected to work shifts (including night duty and on calls) on the Postnatal Ward providing care for Mums and babies under the additional care pathway. The successful applicants will receive a comprehensive orientation programme and are assured that they will receive appropriate support.As a Staff Nurse you will ensure that you are accountable for the overall provision of excellent care and provide evidenced based woman centred care to those that you are caring for.
