Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a prestigious further educational college in Kent to help employ an experienced engineering professional for their part-time Engineering Machinist Apprentice Trainer role. If youre looking for a permanent position,dont hesitate to get in touch.The role is open to professionals with teaching experience/qualifications and industry experience who will be able to develop and nurture the next generation of engineering specialists.The Engineering Machinist Apprentice Trainer will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with the other members of the department and Curriculum Manager to facilitate efficient delivery of the curriculum
  • Teaching, assessing & mentoring level 3 Engineering Machinist students.
  • The successful professional will assist students to compile portfolios in accordance requirements of the awarding body & end point assessment organisation.
The Engineering Machinist Apprentice Trainer will need to have:
  • Assessing & Teaching qualification is desirable
  • Ideally have recent experience of working in an educational/learning environment
  • Ideally have worked in an lecturer or technician role
  • The ability to liaise with staff and people at all levels (internal and external)
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to working hours, patterns and arrangements
