Position: Electronics Software EngineerLocation: GillinghamTerm: PermanentSalary: Up to £60,000 pa (doe)The Company:This world leading product manufacturer, who has over a century of impressive history within the industry. Due to recent company restructure they are seeking a Electronics Software Engineer to join their team.As an Electronics Software Engineer you will be developing real-time safety critical embedded software, to execute within Electronic Control Unit, controlling Powertrains or after-treatment equipment.Your Key Responsibilities:- Generation of embedded C code to implement control algorithms typically from MATLAB Simulink & Stateflow diagrams Integration of manually and auto-generated C code into a single application using IBM Rational ClearCase or Plastic SCM Static analysis of C code using QAC to MISRA standards and local guidelines Verification of C code via peer review, electrical test bench and analysis of Unit Test results Software Integration Reviews and Testing Using commercial software for in-circuit debugging (Lauterbach) Use of data acquisition systems over CCP (e.g.INCA, ATi) for calibration and debuggingSkills:- Experience of developing embedded real-time systems using the C language Configuration management experience using IBM ClearCase or similar Experience in an embedded applicationHaving any the following would be advantageous:- Multicore exposure Automotive background Strong process discipline (V cycle and/or Agile) Experience of real-time debugging using in-circuit emulation tools (e.g. Lauterbach) CAN and/or J1939 protocol exposure and related tools (e.g. Vector tools) PERL and/or Python skills AUTOSAR awareness ASPICE awareness ISO26262 awarenessQualification Educated to HND or degree level in engineering or equivalent.Working hoursWeekly working hours are 37 as stated below, however, some flexibility would be required.Mon-Thurs: 08:0016:30 (with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak)Fri: 08:0013:00 (with no lunchbreak)In return you will receive:Competitive Salary (depending on experience)Exceptional company benefits (Which included Health and Dental plan, 27 days Holiday + BH, Pension etc)If this position is of interest, please apply via the link
