Job Description

We have been engaged to exclusively recruit for a talented Electronic Design Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business based in Kent.As part of ongoing investment into the business and significant growth over the last few years, we are looking for a talented Electronic Design Engineer to join their team and play a key role within the business moving forward.They already have a strong level of expertise from a design perspective, with a team of experienced Electronic and also Mechanical Design Engineers in place, but also recognise the need to add further expertise to take things to the next level.The Electronic Design Engineer will be an integral part of the design team and be responsible for designing and developing best in class electronic products in line with the relevant industry standards.You will also work closely with the production team to ensure good design for production and produce technical documentation to support design work carried out.The successful candidate for the Electronic Design Engineer role will have the following background:

  • Degree qualified in an Electronic Engineering or relevant subject area.
  • Good experience with Electronic hardware design (schematic/BoM)
  • You will ideally have worked to very high standards in a highly regulated environment - aerospace, automotive, defence, electronics or marine.
  • High level of proficiency with PCB Design/PCB Layout.
  • Knowledge of EMC, ensuring that the products that are manufactured meet required safety and environmental requirements.
  • Firmware design experience - embedded C, C#, Visual Basic
  • Integrated Circuit (IC) programming experience would be useful.
