• Weekly pay• Great hourly rate • Flexible shifts The home provides care for residents over the age of 60 who require nursing or personal care for conditions such as Dementia and/or mental health problems.We are looking for experienced Care Assistants that can assist in the resident’s activities of daily living, including personal care. You will ensure that the resident’s daily hygiene and nutritional needs are met, keeping up with housekeeping duties and complying with health and safety regulations. You will be making a difference to the lives of the elderly.Minimum requirements for Care Assistants are:• Safeguarding training within 1 year• Infection Control within 1 year • Moving and Handling training within 1 year• A DBS check for adults services dated within the last 12 months preferably on the update service• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environmentQS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with training that has expired. Additionally, we can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service. This is a long term, ongoing position, with permanent work offered to the right candidate. The hours of work for this role are between Monday to Friday and either from 08:00 to 14:00 or from 14:00 to 20:00. Weekend work is also available and the option for a long day which will be from 08:00 to 20:00.The rate of pay for this role starts at £8.72 and enhancements are made depending on shift.
