If you are a qualified Mental Health Nurse and want to be part of a professional team that is passionate about providing first class patient care, we would like tohear from you.As a Mental Health Nurse, working within the IRC you will provide a holistic package of care to patients within the removal centre and manage the assessment of health needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care including clinical risk assessment.You will ensure that you assess physical and mental health of detainees on admission to the removal centre and throughout their period of detention so that any appropriate referral can be made. You will also be responsible for making a clinical judgement withregard to any immediate need and long term treatment.
