Do you want to lead and improve mental health services for a vulnerable populationGatwick Immigration Removal Centre is a detention centre based on the grounds of Gatwick Airport, Crawley, West Sussex and we are looking for a collaborative and proactive Clinical Psychologist to join our team.What can we offer youThe role of the Clinical Psychologist will be to support the IMHT with assessment and interventions for complex patients, offer consultation/reflective practice to the team, and clinical supervision to the assistant psychologists. The direct clinical workincludes undertaking psychological assessments, supporting complex multi-disciplinary formulations, and delivering psychological interventions for cases of great complexity. You will also be required to utilise research skills for audit, policy and servicedevelopment, and research within the area served by the team/service.In return you will receive..A competitive salary of up to £56,650 (pro-rata for part-time) and benefits including free DBS check, free uniform, free mandatory training, indemnity cover, CPD and re-validation support, 25 days annual leave rising up to 28 days depending on service plus8 public bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time), plus other benefits including cycle to work scheme and clinical development opportunities.
