CK Group are recruiting for a Technical Assistant to join a leading diagnostics company at their site in Gateshead. This role is being offered on an initial 12-month contract. The Company:Our client is an international in-vitro diagnostics company that specialises in the design, development and manufacturing of clinical laboratory testing equipment that aids in the diagnosis of rare cancers and blood diseases.Location:This role is located on the Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead, with easy access to the A1 and serviced by public transport from local areas. Technical Assistant Role:You will be joining the compliance team, your main responsibility will be to work on a number of analytical and data-driven projects, assisting with standardising technical documentation to meet regulatory objectives and support commercial objectives.Your main duties will be to: - Testing of all analytical platforms and reagent tests corresponding to Gel Electrophoresis, Capillary Electrophoresis and Haemostasis menus according to pre-assigned testing and validation protocols.- Data acquisition, documentation and evaluation of all testing work according to GMP/GLP standards.- Routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.- To assist with technical reports and writing supporting information for Technical Documentation in line with IVDR, approving technical information where directed within the electronic document control system.Your Background:- Educated to a minimum of degree level in a Biochemistry related discipline.- Sound knowledge/interest in Electrophoresis and Haemostasis.- Good attention to detail.- Able to work well within a team.Apply:For more information or to apply for this position, please contact James Horne at CK Science on or email , quoting job reference 49418.It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
