The job you will do:
  • Manage closure of QRQC open actions
  • Ensure QMS business procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and reviewed within specified timescales
  • Implement and maintain Genba Kanri
  • Ensure Design change activities are managed and monitored
  • Continuous review of inventory levels
  • Manage the need for additional freight
  • Continuous review of obsolescence risks
  • Prepare and achieve all functional budgets (Matl / VPE and FPE)
  • Prepare accurate reports
  • Lead improvement activities with Suppliers
  • Lead full investigation into stock loss to prevent re-occuring stock losses
  • Effectively plan resources to ensure functional performance is maintained
  • Effectively manage CK static data to provide robust and consistent supply
  • In the event of a delivery threat prepare facts and contingency plans
  • Coordinate new project introductions
  • Coordinate phase out on projects
  • Create and manage supplier delivery schedules
  • Manage Supplier delivery concerns e.g. Mis-label, late delivery, mixed stock etc
  • Effectively manage inventory levels by location
  • Ensure adhere to H&S regulations, rules and procedures
  • Ensure the accident and incident procedure is fully adhered to
  • Ensure adequate PPE and acident equipment is used when appropriate
About you:
  • Proven supply chain expertise in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be preferred
  • Trained to NVQ L4, Degree or equivalent relevant experience in a similar industry
  • Apply good time management techniques
  • Encourage and participate in effective team working
  • Respond readily to requests which require flexibility and mobility including training and development
