Job Description

Service Desk AnalystTemporary Gateshead£14.70 per hour Sellick Partnership are assisting in the recruitment of a Service Desk Analyst for a large public sector organisation. The Service Desk Analyst will be part of a team which delivers an effective technical support service. This role is a temporary positionfor 6 months initially, working on site, 5 days a week in Gateshead. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT and be someone who has worked in customer service before; having previous experience within a Service Desk role would be desired butis not essential.Responsibilities of the Service Desk Analyst:

  • Ensuring timely resolution of incidents and fulfilment of customer requests
  • Provide consistent high quality technical support services to the customer base
  • Support change management process and procedures as required
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and update of ICT user guides
  • Support the achievement of KPIs as defined in service level agreements and adhere to all relevant internal service management processes and procedures
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a passion for IT
  • Hold a good level of customer service experience
  • Be available at short notice
  • Have excellent communication skills
