Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our innovative manufacturing company in Gateshead to cover a maternity role up until September, with potential for extension. This will be a great opportunity for you if you’re able to start a new role quickly, you have strong administration skills and you enjoy working in a busy environment.THE DUTIESYour role as Sales Administrator will see you providing key support to the team. Your duties will include:

  • Processing sales orders from customers
  • Inputting commercial invoices into the system
  • Liaising with couriers regarding the dispatching of products
  • Liaising with other departments to chase for information on orders
  • Supporting with shipping documentation
  • WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEEDTo be shortlisted for the position of Sales Administrator, you will need:
  • Prior experience in a similar role, with outstanding customer service skills
  • A strong telephone manner and supporting written communication skills
  • To be confident using Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills and experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • THE CONTRACT This is a temporary contact, paying £9.50 an hour. You will work from 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday and from 8.30am – 3.30pm on a Friday.This is a maternity cover contract working until at least September, with the potential for extension.TO APPLYPlease submit your CV and your application will go to Katie Newton who is leading the search.
