As a Divisional Manager for Scotland, North East and Central North West, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of your designated Division. ThisDivision has 30 stores with the locations across a large patch. You will ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to and train and develop a successful sales and management team. Key Responsibilities:- Ensure profitability and performance are maximised through the correct balance of commercial acumen and cost control. - Deliver the Division`s financial targets including all current KPI`s. -Increase the Division`s turnover year on year in line with Company expectations -Control any variable costs within each Store in line with the Company`s expectations -Total compliance of all Policies and Procedures both on a person level and ensure direct reports also adhere accordingly. -Demonstrate commitment to the highest levels of customer service and retail standards across the designated Division. -Ensure all Stores within the Division are fully compliant with all statutory laws relating to retail i.e. Health & Safety and Trading Standards, whilst ensuring the welfare of all our customers and staff -Operate effective management of the attendance and/or staff coverage throughout the Division to ensure maximum staff coverage whilst managing budgeted levels - Diary management, to ensure Stores are visited regularly and distance management is effectively conducted. - Share `best practice` within your Division and peer group to maximise the benefit to the business. - Be fully aware and up to date with regards to all competitor activity. - Identify all training needs across the Division and implement relevant training . What we need from you: - Previous Regional or Divisional management experience in the retail industry - You must live within the designated area - Strong commercial awareness - Good organisational, administration, compliance and PC skills - Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines - The ability to motivate, inspire and lead a team effectively - Previous sales experience at management level
