The role works within a busy Fabrication company that specialises in both welding and machining services.£10-£13 p/h DOE4-day weekOvertime available, paid at time & halfPermanent contract after successful probation periodWHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLEAble to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, customer process information, ISO Standards and BOMSLiaison with customers, material and sub-contract suppliersFirst off inspection, Patrol inspection, Batch InspectionComplete First Article inspection reports to various client specificationsGoods in inspection and Certification verificationCalibrationCommunicate with all levels of management.Previously worked under an ISO controlled systemWHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITIONA highly motivated and proactive person who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role.You must have previous quality control experience in a subcontract engineering or sheet metal background.IT literate and fully competent with Microsoft Office packages.The salary for the position is depending on experience.CMM Experience would be favourable.As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage of small batch runs, this is an interesting, varied and challenging position.WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThis is a temp to perm role.
