Job Description

WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FORWestray Recruitment Group is looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner for our client based in Gateshead. This is a forward-thinking organisation, who provides a modern and trendy work environment. Deadlines are of paramount importance to the businessand as a Production Planner you will be centrally placed to plan and schedule production.This is a permanent contract from day one and the salary is between £28k-£32K depending on experience. The role is based within the Print Industry.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Planning work flow within production
Scheduling and ensuring smooth job flow
Assessing man hours and materials required to complete jobs
Ensuring production deadlines are achieved
Liaising with key stakeholders such as the Production Manager, Procurement Department and Design Teams to decide the best plan of action for production

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Production Planning experience gained within the Print Sector
The ability to plan multiple jobs to create efficiencies within the production process
Clear communicator and able to work with various stakeholders
Taking an active lead within the shop floor to understand machine set ups and cycle times
Excellent organisational skills
