You will bring to the post a wealth of production and bespoke bench joinery experience to improve efficiencies, tools, equipmentand to identify obstacles to be overcome.This is a permanent opportunity from day one. The position is based in the Gateshead area. It is day shift only and pays £40-50K per annum depending on experience.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLEThis role ensures the build of product from the customers specifications and requirements.Monitor productivity rates and product standards and uphold quality.Production planning and schedulingAsset maintenance, including site and equipmentWarehouse/Stores management and goods Inwards processingMonitor the production processes and adjust schedules as neededCollate and analyse data, putting together production reports for both senior managers and staffSupervise and motivate a team of workers, review performance and identify training needs.Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clientsEnsure that health and safety guidelines are followed, and implement the companys policies and goalsOrganising meetings and carrying out weekly staff updates.Organising jobs and tasks.Dealing with figure projections for the end of the month.Work with estimators and assist with costing jobsWHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITIONExperience leading within a production environment.Bench joinery/Bespoke joinery experience are very beneficialManaging staff.Take pride in your work, producing a quality product.To adhere to company policies and procedures.Have a good eye for detail and be very meticulous.Experience overseeing a wide aspect of business operations.Strong leadership skills and an ability to motivate a team.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Able to take accountability and assume overall final responsibility.Experience holding people accountable and motivating staff to finish jobs on time and of a high qualityGood listening and communication skills.Self-motivated, a flexible attitude.To be aware of time management and possible consequences if not adhered too.The ability to solve problems using available information.WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThis is a permanent role centring on day shift hours.
