Job Description

Central Employment are pleased to be working alongside an engineered plastics packaging company based in the Team Valley. Due to growth, they are now looking to onboard a Production Administrator to join their team.Purpose of the Production Administrator:The purpose of the Production Administrator is to manage the day to day activities of the department. Organisation is a key part of the role, and a successful applicant will display a wide range of skills and attributes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly review all production "in process" paperwork
  • Maintain accurate production records
  • Liaise with production teams to investigate and rectify any information anomalies
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Create delivery notes and product labels
  • Raise courier requests
  • Process production documentation as required
  • Communicate with team members and communicate directly with other departments either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Support in the creation of the production plan
  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager and Ops Manager where needed
  • Ensure all protective clothing is worn as per guidance
  • Carry out any other duties that are within the employees skills abilities whenever reasonably instructed
Essential Experience:
  • Previous experience, in plastics industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Well-organised and committed individual, strong work ethic and capable of a high level of accuracy
Full time hours, in office.
