Job Description

WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FORWestray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit Mechanically Biased Maintenance Technicians for our client based in the Gateshead area. The successful candidates will be Time Served and have experience conducting maintenance within fast paced, high volumeproduction environments. This role involves not only reacting to breakdowns, but also delivering planned preventative measures and root cause analysis to eradicate breakdowns.These are permanent roles from day one, centring on rotating 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of night shift. The role also comes with readily available overtime during the week and at weekends.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Attending to breakdowns
  • Delivering planned/preventative maintenance strategies
  • Maintaining conveyor systems, brake presses, weld sets, cnc equipment, paint lines, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment
  • Ensuring the upkeep of building & facilities
  • Recording and documenting maintenance
WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
  • Time served Mechanically Biased Maintenance Technician
  • Experienced working within high volume manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding working with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, valves, conveyors, bearings, chains, gear boxes, etc
  • Must be flexible to undertake overtime duties
  • Bench skills and welding ability preferred
WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThese are permanent requirements centring on rotating 2 weeks of days then 2 weeks of nights. These positions centre on a 40-hour week.WHAT SALARY PACKAGE YOU WILL BE RECEIVINGThe annual salary is £32, 978.40 (£13.61 days and £18.10 nights).
