Job Description

  • Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-1pm

They are a respected local employer with core values focussing around people development and equality, alongside socialpolicies including protecting the environmentTHE ROLEThe position is for a Material Handler. Your Duties will include but not limited to
  • Remove the finished goods from the manufacturing area & take to the warehouse.
  • Control & remove any scrap from work areas & place in correct waste skip.
  • Print labels for manufacturing.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Liaise with the manufacturing shift supervisors on planning the daily load to ensure maximin efficiency.
THE PERSONYou will be required to work with minimum supervision, adopting a positive and proactive approach to ensure the business achieves it’s KPI’s and related targets. An excellent attitude is required for this role as there is an opportunity for you to be offeredpermanent employment.
  • Suitable candidates must have an excellent can-do attitude
  • The person will work to set KPI’s and other related targets the business may set
  • You must be willing to undertake any training required for the role
  • Previous experience of working shift rotations is desirable
  • You will demonstrate a good eye for detail and show good manual dexterity
  • Experience working in electrical assembly is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
