Job Description

Reed HR are supporting a manufacturing company in Gateshead to recruit a HR Advisor to join their busy team. The role shouldensure all HR tasks are completed timely and accurately, whilst supporting the business to ensure an inclusive and forward-thinkingculture is promoted. This is an exciting time to join the company as they undergo a period of growth.This role is paying 35k and is predominantly site based in Gateshead (1 day a week from home).Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to all HR meetings, this includes all disciplinary, absence, performance, and capability processes.
  • To provide 1st level HR support to people managers
  • Support on any complex HR and ER processes and queries.
  • Works closely with Finance Payroll to provide details of any Company Sick Pay scheme payments, and any other adjustment that is required to weekly / monthly payroll.
  • Ensures that employment legislation and ACAS codes of practice are being adhered to throughout all HR activity.
  • Maintain accurate internal records in line with GDPR.
  • Support Head of People with all project initiatives and policy/procedure updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of changes of employment practices and ensure full compliance within the business.
Person specification:
  • Strong administrator with at least 2 years’ experience in a busy, fast paced HR environment
  • Strong understanding of Absence and ER related issues.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards.
