Thats when it hits home.We have fabulous job opportunity for you to join our amazing team as a Housing Management Co-ordinator supporting our brilliant customers with medium to low tenancy support needs. Our customers live independently across 50 homes mainly in the Leam Lane areaof Gateshead.As our Housing Management Co-ordinator, youll be there for your customers who are moving forward in their journey of independence. Youll support their needs by helping them to learn to manage their tenancy and rent accounts. Youll also support your customerswith their housing benefit claims and making sure that these are received onto their rent account. Youll turn around vacant bed spaces so that new customers who need our help can move in quickly.Youll also make sure our service achieves maximum occupancy,and that we are health and safety compliant!Your attitude and drive are far more important than your experience. We can teach you everything you need to know, but we cant teach you to care, to be determined to find solutions or to have an upbeat energised happy vibe about you. That comes from withinbut is exactly what were looking for. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.You will have someknowledge or experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, rents, independence plans, alongside working collaboratively.As our Housing Management Co-ordinator, your job will be supporting letting and re-letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. Youre great at managing your own time and have strong written and verbal communicationskills.To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, its really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!) However, were glad to support you if you need help.To make sure our customers are well supported, its important that you have worked in either a social housing or care setting environment before.
