Home Care Support Worker - Driving Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE11 9AESalary: £9.00 per hourContract: Both full time and part time permanent positions availableWe are DK Home Support, a supportive, friendly and passionate team of carers. We provide a range of services and support to our clients to enable them to live independently at home and be supported out in the community.Our service is the best, and as a result it is in high demand!We are currently recruiting for Care Assistants / Support Workers with their own vehicle and a full clean licence who live within the following areas:

  • Pelaw
  • Leam lane
  • LowFell
  • Harlow Green
  • Birtley
  • Deckham
  • Wrekenton
  • We have a range of full/part time vacancies available tailored to fit round your needs.All staff are required to work alternate weekends or one permanent Sat/Sun to ensure fairness to all employees and make sure you get time off to spend with family.Your Role - Home Care Assistant:
  • Assisting Clients within their own homes delivering high-quality person-centred care.
  • Assisting Clients to access the community for social activities such as shopping, bingo or hospital appointments.
  • Tasks will include supporting with personal care, domestic duties and meal preparation
  • Due to the nature of domiciliary care and having to travel between client’s homes, it is essential that you can drive and have access to a car for this role.What we want from you:We welcome applications from candidates that have previous experience however you do not need any formal experience to be considered as one of our Care Assistants.We will make sure that you have full training, regular mentoring and on-going career development in a supportive working environment.We look after our staff too!
