A global specialist in the design and manufacture of resilient metal seals, gaskets and ancillary components are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Production Engineer to join their team in Stanley, on a 12-month placement at their UK site. They are agrowing multi-national business with operations in the UK, US, and Europe.Working with them will provide you with the chance to develop your skills and experience across a wide range of industry sectors including aerospace, automotive, oil and gas and power generation. The successful candidate will benefit from a private pensionscheme, non-contractual Business Performance Related Bonus, 23 days annual leave (rising with service) plus Bank Holidays, a working week of 38 hours over 5 days with an early Friday finish, offering excellent work/life balance.As part of the Production team, the Graduate Production Engineer will learn to design and develop near-net forming processes for critical customer applications. Working alongside toolmakers, production team leaders and design engineers you will use cuttingedge CAE, engineering, and structural modelling tools to develop precision rolling and forming processes that deliver rapid prototyping for test-engine development and stable, capable production processes for mature seal programmes.Successful candidates will have the unrivalled opportunity to experience and contribute to real and critical industrial challenges within an agile, class-leading organisation.During the 12-month placement, you will be tasked with individual projects targeting improvement of current processes. You will be expected to research, analyse, and create real added value in the area of production process improvement.
