Job Description

We are recruiting for their busy Gateshead Branch!JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Engage with customers face-to-face, selling them different options in foreign currencies - including travellers cheques and loaded money cards
  • Ensuring you achieve your foreign exchange targets including set KPIs
  • Working hard to convert Travel Customers to purchase currency
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times
  • Assisting with day to day operations of the foreign exchange bureau
  • Monitoring local competition and managing rates and margins effectively on a daily basis
  • Monitoring stock levels of foreign currency and ensuring that minimum quantities are maintained
  • Accurate cash reconciliation and banking
  • Responsible for minimising risk and mitigating errors
  • Participating in promotional events to promote the branch
  • Dealing with related administration and other ad hoc duties
  • Being flexible to work a 37.5 hour week over 7 days (rota for weekends with time off in lieu in the week)
