Are you an Embedded Software Engineer looking for a new role in Gateshead, Tyne and WearOur client are experts in the power electronics industry, with over 40 years experience. They are a green tech global company, leading the charge towards net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. They provide bespoke motors, generators and power electronics systemsranging from a few KW up to multi MW. Our client is looking for a skill individual, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and testing embedded software. Skills required for the Embedded Software Engineer:-Working knowledge of C programming language.-Experience in embedded system hardware and software testing and debugging, including design of test fixtures.-Use of Texas Instrument series MCU evaluation/development kits.-Experience in programming of current generation Texas Instrument series MCUDesirable skills for the Embedded Software Engineer:-Experience of embedded control in power electronics systems-Able to create and test modules such as Pulse Width Modulator generator and communications modules such as UARTS, I2C, CAN, Ethernet etc-Ability to operate simulation tools such as PLECS and/or Symmetrix (including use of c-script in PLECS)-Demonstrable experience of working to recognised software processes and standards with application of Software Integrity Levels (SIL)-Experience in programming of Infineon Tri-core processors If you have any specific questions about this Embedded Software Engineer vacancy, please call Ben Clarke on To apply email:
