Job Description

Central Employment are pleased to be working with a cost effective packaging distributor based in Gateshead. They are currently looking for 2x Customer Coordinators to join their team to assist in migrating onto a new system.Purpose of the Customer Coordinator:The purpose of the Customer Coordinator is to help migrate data onto the new system. This is starting out at a 6 month temporary contract. The successful candidate will also need to provide exceptional communication skills and be able to provide customerservice.Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording all information
  • Follow credit application procedure.
  • Follow up quotation
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analysing customer information
  • Manage incoming calls
  • Generate sales leads and work with the BDM’s
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information
  • Cancel or upgrade accounts/internal systems
  • Advise on company information
  • Place or cancel orders on ABACA/Opera
  • Manage customer stock requirements -where appropriate.
  • Sell products and services
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction
Essential Experience:
