Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading eCommerce retailer in Gateshead. Our client is looking for someone with a strong copywriting skill with creative flair, as well an understanding of SEO to join their marketing team.The business has a built a vibrant, energetic and fun working environment and offer excellent development opportunities and benefits.The role:

  • Create SEO optimised copy across the stores websites and the group website including CMS, listing and product pages.
  • Create additional relevant, engaging content for store blogs, the group blog as well as marketing campaign copy.
Develop an outreach strategy, finding opportunities for quality link building and guest blogging.
  • Report on SEO performance on a monthly basis using tools such as SEM Rush, Search Console and Google Analytics.
The person:
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a strong creative flair.
  • SEO knowledge
  • Ability to adapt copy to suit the different tones of voice for each brand.
  • Confident using tools such as SEM Rush, Search Console, Google Analytics etc.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Proactive, driven and excellent use of initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Approachable and can-do attitude.
Youll stand out if you have any of the following:
  • A recognised marketing qualification.
  • General knowledge and/or experience in other areas of digital marketing.
  • Ecommerce background.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS for use on Wordpress.
