Job Description

Are you a skilled Compressed Air Engineer seeking a new and exciting opportunity Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Compressed Air Engineer to join our client’s team based in Gateshead.   • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on compressed air systems and associated equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of compressed air systems.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of compressed air systems, including equipment selection, layout, and installation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to compressed air systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Compressed Air Engineer, ideally with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of compressed air systems, including compressors, air dryers, filters, and associated equipment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on compressed air systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in compressed air engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
