MTrecs New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing out prestigious engineering client, based in Gateshead, with their plans for internal growth by recruiting a Permanent CNC Machine Operator to join their team. A successful candidate with be responsible for setting,operating and programming CNC machines. If you are an experienced CNC Operator, looking for you next career move, then apply now for an immediate response.The Job Youll Do;
  • Operating, setting and programming CNC milling machines.
  • Working on Horizontal machine centres.
  • Working on Haas controlled milling machines.
  • Reading technical documents, such as diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Implement 5s.
  • Work to tolerances and drawings.
  • Always maintain a good standard of Health & Safety.
  • Ensure a good standard of housekeeping is always maintained.
  • Any other tasks as requested by the Machine Shop Manager/Supervisor.
About You;
  • Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
  • Experience within a CNC Operator role/similar.
  • Haas EC-1600 Horizontal machine experience but, programming training will be given, experience with ISO programming Fanuc/Haas essential.
  • Experience with setting components on a Horizontal/vertical milling machine needed.
  • Training provided for all included for both programming and setting, time served engineer preferred.
  • Experience ISO programming, Fanuc/Haas.
