Job Description

Central Employment are looking for ICT Billing Manager, joining an established Technology organisation based in Gateshead.Purpose of the Billing Manager: Were looking for a Billing Manager to join our team to oversee our billing and order processing operations in our accounting department. Youll be responsible for making sure we bill our customers correctly, accurately, and promptly each month.You should have a keen eye for detail, ensuring any discrepancies with supplier invoices are resolved and all services are reconciled and billed. You should be comfortable working with little supervision and meeting tight deadlines.Responsibilities:

  • Issue and distribute invoices
  • Process new contracts and sales
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and orders are processed efficiently
  • Address customer complaints and questions
  • Reconcile customer and supplier invoices
  • Prepare and present analytical reports
  • Support monthly and quarterly audits and clean ups
  • Resolve any issues or mistakes, and recommend improvements
  • Identify any non-billed services
Experience:
  • Proven experience with managing billing processes for consumer and/or business customers.
  • Good knowledge of electronic billing procedures
  • Preferred experience from telecom or utilities billing and payments, include systems and processes supporting high volume of transactions.
  • Experience with developing and improving systems and business processes.
  • Experience with driving operational improvements and customer experience improvements.
Skills:
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and having the ability to create insights from data.
  • Strong delivery skills and basic project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Skills to drive business improvements and business cases and being able to influence key stakeholders to make changes happen.
