Interim Attendance Manager- GatesheadThe Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Gateshead in search of an Interim Attendance Manager. The role is initially temporary to commence as soon as possible until a permanent member of staff is appointed. The role will involve promoting attendance and inclusion within the school, and contacting parents/caregivers to put together programmes of support to combat absenteeism.In order to be successful in your application you must have experience of working in an educational setting, with responsibility for liaising with school staff, students, and parents to promote positive outcomes for students.Requirements for the role of Attendance Manager:- Two years of experience working in a school-based setting- Experience within a similar role- Excellent communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills- Empathy, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure- A full, clean driving licence- A current enhanced DBS certficate, or the willingness to apply for oneThe Education Network has become first choice for secondary schools across the region for both daily and long term supply cover.
