Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to work for this successful, expanding company in Gateshead. Reporting to the Head of Finance, your duties will be as follows:

  • Production of management accounts and monthly reporting pack for the group
  • Preparation of reports and information for the Head of Finance and CEO
  • Assisting with the production of statutory accounts for the group
  • Working with the FC to produce group budgets and 5-year plans
  • Producing financial information and project reports
  • Working with senior managers on development plans for the business
  • Any other general duties within the finance team
    • You will be part qualified and have worked in a similar role previously. Experience of various accountancy software packages is desirable. Microsoft Dynamics or Quickbooks experience would be an advantage.This is a great opportunity to work for a well-established, dynamic company and will suit someone who is keen to develop and grow with the company.Study support will be given.
