Job Description

Account Manager (Internal) - TelecomsDue to ongoing business growth, our client are seeking to recruit an experienced Account Manager (Internal) - TelecomsReporting to the National Sales Director - Telecoms & IT, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice on the best Communication solutions for a dedicated base of existing clients. You will have a strong desire to build a career in Telecom Saleswith a proactive nature, have excellent communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with customers.Location: Gateshead, NewcastleWorking Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday-FridaySalary: Competitive + BenefitsContract: Permanent, Full TimeAccount Manager (Internal) - Telecoms Duties:

  • Ongoing account management of existing clients through virtual meetings and calling.
  • Work in a consultative sales approach to establish strategic relationships & retain accounts
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle, identify opportunities, create proposals and build and manage pipeline
  • Achieving sales targets for contract renewals, growth & reduce churn in line with business objectives
  • To promote the full product portfolio of the telecoms business.
  • Keeping CRM system up to date by adding notes and creating appointments.
  • Develop & maintain a high level of industry and competitor knowledge
  • This could lead to a full field-based role in the future which would include some new business responsibility.
Account Manager (Internal) - Telecoms Requirements:
  • Drive and ambition to succeed in Telecommunications Sales
  • Ability to engage with clients and build relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to network with a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers
  • Experience in selling hosted telephone solutions or account management (beneficial)
