Job Description

Youll always be looking at ways we can make our operations more efficient and effective and champion a culture of putting our people and customers at the heart of what we do.Youll be part of the HR team and based in our Cambridge office, you can work from home up to 3 days a week. This role will report to the Head of HR.What youll be doingSupporting our people with advice and guidance, its your job to make sure that our people understand our processes and policies and we help them with any questions they might have.Operational management, youll be responsible for all keeping our employee (including training) records up to date, issuing contracts, pay review letters, on/off boarding, pre-hire checks, all employment letters, benefit and pension administrationand monthly payroll submissions. Youll also be responsible for keeping our HR System, IrisHR working seamlessly - always looking for ways to be more efficient and automate process. You will also need to ensure, working with the HRBP our policies are up todate and easy for our employees to use and read.Talent acquisition, its your role to attract and identify top talent, youll be responsible for managing recruitment end to end, from ensuring all of our adverts are posted in line with our tone and culture, to candidate screening, arranginginterviews and provide management of the overall recruitment process. Youll need to perform tailored talent searches for niche roles and work with our hiring managers to define exactly what were looking for. Youll also be responsible for ensuring that ournew joiners get the best start in the company by owning the onboarding process, delivering induction sessions and materials.Supporting performance management, youll be responsible for providing the business with advice and guidance on the performance review process, advising and identifying development needs and supporting managers with these. Youll providethe business with insights and data around performance and look for ways to continuously improve the process.Champion engagement via surveys, recognition, events, initiatives and programmes.Provide the business with reporting and analysis on people trends. Along with the HRBP, youll be responsible for analysing the data, spotting trends and pulling together plans to address any areas of concern. Youll need to run regularreports to calculate attrition, tenure length, headcount tracking, recruitment timelines etc.Youll advocate our culture and employer brand, championing and embedding our values in all that we do in People Operations.You

  • Have worked in generalist HR and HR administration roles
  • Have previous experience in a talent acquisition or recruitment role.
  • Preferably have a CIPD qualification, or the equivalent experience
  • Have a passion for people, engagement and the experience HR provides the business.
  • Have experience in managing/administering HR systems, applicant tracking systems and ideally monthly payroll processing.
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset, youre always looking to how we can be more effective, efficient and smart in what we do.
  • High energy levels and an infectious can-do attitude
  • Friendly, approachable and people orientated comms style
  • Microsoft suite experience
  • Excellent telephone and video call manner
  • Naturally well organised
