In Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (C&P), the local health and care system has come together to develop a five-year Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) to improve the health and care of the local population and bring the system back into financial balance. The development of this plan has been led by Chief Executives, frontline staff and patients. C&P is one of the most challenged health systems in England, making it essential that organisations work together to develop robust plans for long-term change. The System has in place strong, visible, collective leadership and all organisations have agreed to work together, taking joint responsibility for improving the population’s health and wellbeing within a defined financial envelope. The System’s plan encompasses clinical redesign, financial modelling and planning of core enablers (including estates, workforce and digital technology). As a System, a Digital and Innovation Programme has been established to support and enable the System wide desire for Digital transformation. The programmes’ vision is to “Foster person-centred health and well-being by accelerating the adoption of digital health and care solutions”. The programme is led by the Digital Enabling Group (DEG) who contribute to the overall delivery of ICS objectives by ensuring that the quality improvements and financial opportunities identified in the ICS are realised through the delivery of the Digital and Innovation programme. The ICS Digital and Innovation Programme has recently received additional funding, which has allowed progression of the Shared Care Record (ShCR) as well as additional posts to be brought into the team.We are entering our next key phase of project delivery for our Shared Care Record project. This will be an exciting time to join the project, as this role will drive the pace of project implementation, working closely with Partners and Suppliers to define and deliver plan of works. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on achieving project outputs to time, quality and cost, who has sound technical knowledge, and can be flexible and creative in getting project outputs achieved. Please note, Interviews for this role will take place in mid to late January 2021.For further details / informal visits contact:Joanna Leung, Senior Digital and Innovation Manager
