My client was established over 100 years ago and has experienced continued growth since then, becoming a leader in the development of precision motion, automation and optical systems. They have grown to have manufacturing bases in the UK and USA as wellas regional offices in Germany, Japan and China giving Global coverage. Due to this expansion they are now seeking an experienced CNC Miller Operator for an ASAP start. This is a full time position working on a shift pattern and does include a shift bonus. The ideal candidate, as well as having prior experience of CNC Milling, would have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, be fully conversant with Fanuc controls and be able to make minor adjustments when setting up. They would come from anEngineering background and be be able to use measuring equipment. They would also be open to working the following shifts, based on a 39 hour week...MorningsMonday to Thursday 6.00am - 2.00pm Friday 6.00am - 1.00pmEveningsMonday to Thursday 2pm - 10pmFridays 1.00pm - 8.00pmOvertime is also available on occasion and you would also need a full UK driving licence and your own transport.
