Our Client are a Sawmill and Joinery company that manufactures a wide range of gates, fencing and landscaping materials.Due to ongoing exceptional demand their Joinery department has an excellent opportunity for a Wood Machine Operatorto join their long-established family run business near Frome, in SomersetAs part of this team you will be responsible for a range of machine operative tasks within an extremely busy production environment.This includes the operation of:MouldersMorticersTennonersDimension SawsVarious other machineryThe position is offered on a full-time basis and experience within a similar environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.The ideal candidate will:be reliable and hard workinghave the ability to work at a high level of accuracybe keen to learn and progressdemonstrate a high standard of attention to detailinclude your favourite colour upon applicationwork well under pressure within a busy teamBenefits include:Competitive hourly and overtime rate (based on level of experience), company pension scheme, paid holidays and bank holidaysfull on-the-job trainingHours6- 3.30 or 7- 4.30 daysnights9 pm to 7 amMonday to Thursday nights will be 7pm to 3 amExperienced or semi experienced wood machinists in a wood machine shop would be greatThey use unimap or Profitmap wood machines
