Job Description

Senior Care Assistant - £12.34/hr - Frodsham - Permanent**Rated GOOD by the CQC**You will be working for a charitable organisation who put the needs of the 70 residents and its staff first, this home is rated at Good by the CQC, whose person-centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees, who we expectto go the extra mile to improve the home experience and generate a relaxed and informal community within our homes.Roles available -Day Shift Senior Care Assistant - 39 hours per week (3x 12hr shifts) 08:00to20:00 - £12.34 per hour, including alternate weekends.(Full Time hours you will be working on a two week rota, 39 hours a week, which involves every other weekend being worked.)Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.To participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans for each resident and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.To supervise and support the care team, ensuring that the Care Home values of trust, respect and care are always maintained.Person specificationTwo years minimum experience of working in a residential Care or Nursing Home environmentHave a NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, QCF or equivalent.Supervisory/leadership skills, and a willingness to develop new skillsDetails£12.34 per hourPermanent ContractExcellent public transport links and central location.This is a fantastic opportunity, please apply online in the first instance.
