Job Description

As the Market Insight Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day performance of the Commercial Field team, as well as developing & executing plans for leading focused strategies to analyse & penetrate areas of business appetite of the UK.You will apply focus to geographical areas to deliver understanding of that landscape through field activity, local key relationship development & analysis of market and local council influence on industry.You will need to conduct fact finding exercises, manage your customers perception & advocacy of Acorn Insurance, understand their trends & identify opportunities. You will have the ability to understand market trends, create and interpret data to deliver reportsand improvements to stakeholders.You will be responsible for keeping customers fully updated on future roadmap developments & their potential benefits of doing business with Acorn Insurance.The Market Insight Manager will be accountable for driving performance and department improvements through the development of the vision and strategy of the Acorn Taxi division as well as proven leadership qualities to coordinate, and motivate your remit.Role: Marketing Insight ManagerLocation: Liverpool (Formby)Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pmSalary: 34,000 OTEWhat you will be doing:

  • Meeting and exceeding team and departmental key performance indicators & budgetary requirements
  • Setting & managing team performance of defined targets and delivering continuous improvements in performance and productivity
  • Actively practicing TCF principals by ensuring process adherence within remit, evidenced with audits, error reporting, due diligence checks, process guides & competency assessment
  • Be accountable for the interrogation of both historic and real-time performance data to improve our understanding of the Taxi Landscape
  • Ensure that team members are carrying out their duties and responsibilities in accordance with instructions & business standards
  • Recruit, onboard develop, coach and lead a high-quality team, with capacity & capability to perform duties.
  • Motivate and encourage all members of the team to embrace the department culture and uphold the company values.
  • Design & deliver projects & initiatives to deliver business objectives & operational improvements
  • Responsible for resource & succession planning of team
  • Report on performance in line with business expectation, in written, verbal & presentation format
  • Ensuring standards are replicated within reporting line
  • Custodians of the SM & CR standards

  • Relationship building - ability to develop meaningful connections with potential customers or industry suppliers by being personable, approachable and engaging
  • Comfortable introducing yourself to public, initiating conversations and promoting our products and services (brand ambassador)
  • Preferred industry knowledge of the sector
  • Full UK Driving Licence - (Personal Vehicle)
