Job Description

Job Title: Sales AdministratorLocation: Remote working, will be required to work in Fleet when the office reopensSalary: Up to £23,000Benefits:

  • Hours: 35 hour week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.00pmAbout the role of Sales AdministratorReporting to the Sales Manager, the successful applicant will provide technical expertise to intermediary partners and support the sales process through administrative duties, answering and managing front-line telephone enquiries.To promote the Company and provide expert knowledge on products, lending criteria and technical expertise to our intermediary partners.Responsibilities for the role of Sales Administrator
  • Provide technical expertise to intermediaries regarding products and underwriting criteria
  • Provide technical IT support to intermediaries and problem solve intermediary portal issues
  • Take responsibility for calls, emails and Live Chat to resolve enquires to the intermediarys satisfaction
  • Maintain the intermediary database and set up new companies ensuring processes for distribution routes are followed
  • Liaise with Operations for pre and post-sale queries
  • Work collaboratively with all areas of the business
  • Take responsibility for regularly updating own knowledge on company products, processes and procedures to always provide the best information
  • Understand and keep up to date on competitors products
  • Act in a compliant manner always in line with regulatory guidelines
  • Support team members across sales and the whole business to meet service standards and achieve results
  • Experience required for the position of Sales Administrator
  • Previous experience working in the Mortgage or Financial Services industry, particularly knowledge of Buy to Let mortgages, would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Proven sales experience in either a face to face or telephone-based environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn and build a career in Financial Services
  • PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • CeMAP, or willingness to study for CeMAP, would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Demonstratable knowledge of FCA Regulations, Data Protection, Health and Safety Legislation would be an advantage
