Projective works with the latest technologies and groundbreaking designs to bring sustainable utilities and process solutions to our customers.The RoleThe position reports to the head of sustainability, our fastest and largest growth area of the business. This is therefore an ideal opportunity for someone who is particularly passionate and has some knowledge in this area, and keen to be exposed to a range of interesting projects that will open in the future. You will regularly visit waste water treatment plants and must be happy to travel accordingly.We would welcome applicants currently working for one of main water utility companies currently (UK).The role will suit experienced mechanical or chemical engineers with specific water industry experience. Ideally having experience on waste water sites, candidates must be competent and capable of working independently and as part of a team.You will be able to demonstrate skills in several of the following areas:* Collecting accurate site data through site visits* Analysing and presenting process and operation data in various formats* Production of heat & mass balance calculations* Identification of energy reduction opportunities within the water industry* Project management - scope, time and cost management* Preparing project documentation, writing reports and giving presentations* Knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems including pumping system design & pump selection, water treatment processes and reservoir modeling.* Knowledge of waste water treatment including pumping systems, waste water treatment, sludge treatment, biogas generation and CHP & associated plant.* Knowledge and experience of sustainability improvements and developmentsCandidates must demonstrate a high level of customer focus and present excellent communications skills both written and verbal.Qualifications and Additional Requirements:* 3 to 5 Years of Engineering Experience post qualifications* Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent - desirable* PC Literate - MS office, MS Project* Resident in the UK* Current Driving Licence and access to a carAbout you:* Capable and competent to be proactive, with an efficient and quality approach to tasks* Use your own initiative, taking accountability wherever possible* Results oriented - a starter through to completer* Flexible, positive and has solid professional ethicsOur Offices:We are based in Fleet, Hampshire.
