Job Description

Management AccountantSalary £40,000 to £50,000FleetOur client is currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their fast-paced international business based in Fleet.If you are a finance professional who is fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) then this broad role could offer an excellent step in your career with an internationally recognised brand.Salary between £40,000 - 50,000 per annum plus benefits. Based in Fleet Head Office plus remote working - requirement in office once we start to return more often will be 1-2 times a week, the rest remote from home.The Profile For The Management AccountantThe successful Management Accountant will be an experienced finance professional who is fully qualified. You will be keen to learn and develop your skills and have the confidence to work independently and suggest improvements. Experience of management andfinancial reporting is required. You should be capable of managing a small team to ensure strict reporting deadlines are met.Required Work For The Management Accountant

  • Preparation of monthly financial management reports for inclusion in the management information pack to strict deadlines and to comply with best practice and established accounting policies.
  • Ensure that reconciliations and control procedures are maintained accurately, to cover the correct revenue recognition for the Operations teams.
  • Responsible for compiling the monthly forecast reports and keeping the forecast data up to date.
  • Liaise with Operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing and reporting of monthly income.
  • Reporting of Operations Directors commissions to the Head of Operations for payroll purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of group and local statutory accounts and liaising with auditors as required.
  • Oversight of transactional teams (AP and AR) and monitoring their output ensuring all month end reconciliations are performed on time.
  • Assist in the development and testing of internal controls.
  • Work with the Finance Director to look for opportunities to improve processes and systems wherever possible.
  • Document standard operating procedures for key tasks in the Finance department.
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules and associated accounting records.
Experience RequiredFor The Management Accountant
  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA or any other accounting or Finance qualification
  • Professional qualification from a recognised Accounting Institute
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis techniques
  • Highly motivated and capable of working on own initiative
  • Good team player, able to work with others
