HGV TechnicianSalary: £25,000 - £35,000Experience: 2 years after qualificationsOur client are looking for a fully qualified, experienced HGV Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy Workshop. Our client is fully committed to quality and excellence in everything that they do therefore looking for a HGV technician that takes pride in their work.Key Responsibilities as a HGV technician.• Completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.• Maintains HGV functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.• Complies with state HGV requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.• Maintains HGV records by recording service and repairs.• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Please apply now if you have the relevant experience.
