Are you looking to work for a well-established accountancy practice based locally who are hiring due to growth in business Are you keen to grow your career into a Manager role in the future This opportunity will allow you to complete accounts for clientsacross a range of sectors. You will have recent experience working in an accountancy firm and be qualified or close to completing your final exams. Duties include:* Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of companies* Preparing management accounts, including budgeting and forecasting* Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, including submission to HMRC* Training junior members of the team and reviewing their work* Drafting annual accounts* Payroll and bookkeeping* Liaising with clients, including attending meeting and handling queries* Preparing personal and corporation taxYou will have:* A minimum of 2 years recent experience working in an accountancy practice* ACCA or ACA qualification or close to completion* The ability to prepare and review financial and management accounts* The ability to prepare and submit VAT returns* Excellent communication skills* Strong attention to detail* Knowledge of accounting packages such as Sage, IRIS or QuickBooksIf you are a dynamic Accountant who is ambitious to take your career further in a supportive and friendly environment. This role is based full-time in the office.
