Job Description

An experienced mortgage advisor is required to provide mortgage advice to current and prospective clients of this newly formed brokerage.Key responsibilities include

  • Mortgage Advice: Responsible for providing mortgage advice and to enable clients to obtain a mortgage facility which is affordable and best suited to their personal and financial needs
  • Work alongside the team to ensure delivery of the mortgage from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Compliance: Specialist knowledge of all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements, including the appropriate processes, procedures and implications
    • Core skills and knowledge:
  • In depth experience of providing mortgage advice to private clients
  • End to end mortgage process management with an understanding of the regulatory environment
  • CeMAP qualification
  • Good interpersonal skills to build effective partnerships within the business and externally
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential in communicating with a wide audience (including clients) using a clear and reasoned approach
  • Highly motivated with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
