Job Description

We are recruiting Cleaners to join our team to work in a Nursing Home for Elderly residents.We have both full-time and Part-time vacanciesHours: 08:00 to 16:00Days: Monday to FridayDuties / Summary:

  • Clean designated areas within the Halls of Residence including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and all white goods contained in the kitchens.
  • Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets, sweep and polish floors and clean stairs.
  • Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators, lampshades as appropriate.
  • Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas.
  • During the conference season only: Make beds, including stripping and changing sheeting collection of laundered linen from store, bag and pack laundry for collection
  • Clean internal and external windows, where applicable.
  • Move free-standing furniture as required.
  • Clean and wash glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils, as appropriate.
  • Some level of flexibility (with advance notice) is required, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends.
  • To act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must have at least 12 months previous experience working in an office / industrial environment as a Cleaner / Housekeeper
  • Must have a valid DBS (Enhanced)
  • Must be double vaccinated (Covid-19)
