Job Description

Were led by our values and driven by a strong social purpose, placing our residents at the heart ofeverything we do.We currently have a greatopportunity for you to join Sovereign as an Operations Manager within our Property Repairs Team in our West Region covering Bristol/Swindon/Oxfordshire based from either our Bristol, Yate or Newbury, Thatcham Office.The roleYoull provide line management and overall leadership to the operational services teams that are within the Property Responsive Repairs function in the West.Youll take full responsibilityfor all businessactivity and service delivery including:

  • Customer satisfaction
  • Repair & service quality
  • Levels of productivity
  • Cost of service delivery
  • Financial return
  • Performance management
What youll need
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with knowledge and practical experience from within housing, property services or repairs and maintenance sector
  • Strong leadership skills ideally with experience of managing a direct labour workforce
  • A reputation for driving excellent customerservice and a right first time service delivery
  • Ability to regularly review all aspects of service delivery to ensure resources are optimised and compliant in line withcurrent regulations
  • Proven financial management skills to producemanagement information and financial information in line with budgets and cost accruals data
