This is an exciting opportunity to join Surrey Heartlands CCG in a key senior leadership role.Surrey Heartlands CCG is recruiting a Programme Director to oversee the ambitious and wide ranging cancer programme. Cancer is a key national area of focus with clear ambitions set out within the NHS Long Term Plan. The programme is wide and varied and will require excellent leadership skills as well as relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, particularly the Cancer Alliance. This role will be responsible for driving local delivery through the Integrated Care Partnerships, and managing the programme as a whole, making sure there is clinical and organisational buy in from all the relevant partners. The Programme Director will lead the implementation of the current strategy as well as developing future projects and ambitions to meet the Long Term Plan ambitions and ensure equity of services and outcomes across the whole geography.As an experienced Programme Director you will have knowledge and experience of working on similar programmes for the NHS and have an in depth appreciation of the NHS and its architecture. You will have exceptional senior stakeholder management and communication attributes, organisation and analytic skills and be able to converse and collaborate confidently with stakeholders and the Cancer Alliance on technical and non-technical issues.This is a critical time of change and opportunity so if you have the passion, enthusiasm and skills to join the team in this very senior role and would like any further information then please get in touch.
