Job Description

Live in CaretakerWest London - Feltham£18,000 - £20,000 Plus 1 Bed FlatMonday-FridayExperienced resident caretaker required for block of 143 high end flats in the Feltham area.General Duties - including but not limited to

  • You are to ensure the communal areas are clean and maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the building including vacuuming, dusting, removing rubbish and junk mail.
  • Removal of rubbish from outside apartment doors and place into bins
  • Mopping and sweeping of outside front steps whilst ensuring the front area is always kept tidy.
  • Cleaning and polishing of front door brass
  • Ensure all bulbs are working and replace where needed.
  • Be available each week to take deliveries/let in contractors and to be main point of contact.
  • Be vigilant and ensure security of the building including the checking of locks and windows.
  • To maintain written records of any incidents on site including any health & safety issues and accidents.
  • To proactively inspect the building daily for maintenance issues dripping pipes and take appropriate action
  • To keep gardens tidy at all time.
  • Check operation of lifts and boilers on a daily basis and liaise with maintenance contactors
  • Report any misuse of car park
    • The candidate will:
  • Ideally have previous experience in a live-in position
  • Have proven skills as a caretaker
  • Be heavily service oriented
  • Have basic maintenance knowledge with a hands-on approach and good diy skills.
  • Have high levels of customer service
  • Have an interest in gardening as there would be an element of grounds maintenance
