Job Description

Child Care Support Worker - FelthamAre you looking to work as a Child Care Support Worker Love supporting others Live local in the Feltham areaIf so, we are recruiting a Care Support Worker to work within a fantastic school, local to Feltham. The school are looking for someone to help support pupils aged 4 to 16 years. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday position 8:30 to 4pm.Experience supporting pupils in a SEN Education or in Care is preferential.The School:

  • The school is a college supporting pupils aged 4 to 16 years with special needs such as autism
  • The learners are at the heart of everything the college does and their curriculum is highly personalised to help pupils achieve their goals
  • The school has high expectations of their pupils and operates on a person-centrered approach
  • The school uses a Positive Behaviour Support framework with the aim of improving and enhancing pupils learing quality
  • The school aims to advocate for and deliver learning that is enjoyable, age appropriate, and individualised for all pupils
The Role:
  • As a Care Suport Worker you will need to support students with special needs on a 1:1 or in small group settings
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Work across different classes and have a positive attitude towards supporting children with their needs
  • Personal Care may be included
  • Ensure the safety of pupils in & out of class as a Care Suport Worker
  • Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised
Requirements:
  • Available fulltime and Immediately!
  • Experience supporting children/vulnerable adults with SEN is preferential
  • Willingness to support SEN pupils as a Care Support Worker
  • Either have Enhanced Child & Adult DBS or willing to get one processed
  • Live local to Feltham or within a commutable distance
